Shark Suit Sun Protective swim wear offers the maximum protection of UV50+ for the whole family. The days of parents worrying about their
kids getting sun damage is over. Thousands of children are now safely
enjoying many hours in the sun with Shark Suit products. Already a staple
in it's native Australia, every Shark Suit products guarantees the maximum
SPF 50+ sun protection wet or dry and complies with the AS/NZS 4399:1996
standards.
Shark suits are made from a revolutionary fabric developed in Australia
called 'Stretchtex'. StretchTex fabrics are licensed under the Authority of
Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agencies (ARPANSA) UPF
Certification scheme and all fabrics are tested for Ultra Violet Protection
Factor (UPF) by the Authority of Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear
Safety Agencies (ARPANSA).
Stretchtex fabrics are Chlorine resistant and each roll of fabric is tested
prior to production. A strict quality control program combined with
'in-house' spectrophotometer testing ensures all products meet or exceed the
rating of SPF 50+ wet or dry.
The 2010 collection consists of a complete baby range from new born to 1
year as well as a range of children's Shark Suits for ages 1-14. Shark
Suits feature extended legs, arms and high necks to protect where they are
most vulnerable to sunburn. Rash shirts, swim shorts, tankinis, shirts and
fitted swim shirts are available in sizes 2-14. Men and women's swim shirts
and leisure shirts, beach robes, hats and gloves are also available.
All Shark Suit products are made in Australia and shipped from New York City
to anywhere in the world.
Shark Suit products are cool and comfortable to wear. The fabric dries
quickly. As many of us know from experience there is nothing hotter than
being sunburnt.
